Can We Stop Nuclear Proliferation in the Middle East?

!±8± Can We Stop Nuclear Proliferation in the Middle East?

Most of the military analysts have a negative outlook on WMD in the Middle East. Most of the think tank papers I've read show a rather dire and pessimistic view of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East as well, but still I ask; does it really have to be that way? No, I don't believe it has to be any particular way, and that if we are careful and play it right, and have the help of the Arab League and others, we may be able to put a stop to the domino effect unraveling with regards to nuclear weapons in that region of the world.

Indeed, I believe that we have a chance for a Non-Nuclear Proliferation agreement from Algeria to Egypt to Yemen, to Oman to Pakistan to Afghanistan to Iran to Turkey and back. No new nuclear weapons and reduction of those already created. Is that even possible? Well, sometimes peer pressure is better than sanctions and fear from foreigners, which is what the US appears to be as it dictates what should and should not be done.

Now then, Obama is a good spokesman, but we need more bold talk, and get everyone on the same page thinking on these things, you watch, we could turn this thing around, there is some synergy, it can be done. It should be done. It's a big chess board, lots of details, but like all trends turned to movements, once things start moving, we could have it all into place, and that could be wonderful for the world.

It's time that the nations of the world work together and not plot to attack one another. Of course, there are some sharp tongues, some radical religious beliefs, and some revenge motivations out there, so, we need to understand what we are dealing with.

Further, for those nation-states which have fallen to the Arab Spring, it is my contention that the US should franchise our "Constitution" and use components of the EU. And not just in the Middle East but around the globe to unite the world. If positive things happen with regards to the settling down of the Arab Spring, Iranian nuclear development, and a positive ending to the North Korean standoff, then the Asean nations will see this and fall in-line too.

In fact, South America can unite after they go through their re-trial of socialism, which is sure to fail based on the direction of travel now, on that we wait. Who cares if it all takes 50-years, in due time, still the US model is the right one, it's the best for humanity, for freedom, and for personal liberty. If you have that, you'll have your renaissance - World Wide! We should help make it so.
